Standing in terraced grounds which lead down to the waterfront, the panoramic views from the hotel across the Great Sound are of the city of Hamilton.
ACCOMODATION
The choice of spacious and very stylish accommodation includes; deluxe rooms with two double beds (up to four guests); studio suites closest to the waterfront with a kitchenette and a king-size bed (just for two guests): one bedroom suites with a king-size bed, a separate living/dining room and a full kitchen (up to four guests); the two bedroom suites have an extra bedroom with two double beds, suitable for four to eight guests. Every room has internet access, a large flat screen TV, a balcony, iron and board and a CD /DVD player. We have very full detailed notes on each room type to help you choose the right one for you.
LEISURE FACILITIES , GOLF & SPA
A gentle swim or a full workout in the gym? Both are easy here! The freshwater heatable infinity pool and Jacuzzi, overlook the harbour. A ccess to the pool is down half a dozen gentle steps. There is a pool bar (in season) and sunbeds, towels and umbrellas are free. Enjoy a walk or sunbathe on nearby beaches.
The well equipped gym is free to guests and includes treadmills, a cross trainer, exercise bikes and more, we have details. Tennis players can enjoy two hard courts on the property and ball and racquet hire is free from the hotel. Golfers will be delighted to take the hotel’s complimentary shuttle to the Belmont Hills course, just five to seven minutes away. Reduced green fees and pre-bookable tee off times are standard for hotel guests. The 6,100 yard course is full of bunkers, narrow fairways and two large water hazards to test the enthusiast.
After all that activity, the Samadhi Spa will revitalise and relax! Five treatment rooms, a hairdresser and beauty therapist will pamper you in this very serene spot. Guests will find a wide range of body and facial treatments as well as yoga and meditation training.
DINING
Dining options include the Beau Rivage at the hotel where guests can enjoy an à la carte breakfast or lunch or for dinner the very French influenced menu is recommended. The room service breakfast is extremely varied. The Blu is the restaurant at the Golf Club which we have enjoyed on previous visits. The city of Hamilton has an excellent choice of restaurants too – a few minutes away by taxi or by hotel water shuttle.
