A well known resort on the fabulous Elbow Beach

Some 2 miles from Hamilton on Bermuda’s beautiful South Shore this resort hotel is under the expert management of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Set in 50 acres of lush landscaped gardens, the hotel overlooks a magnificent pink sand beach. Here guests can enjoy a cool towel service, loungers, umbrellas and a “flag” waiter service. A range of water sports and diving are available on the beach in season. Everything is here, even a beachfront bistro for lunch or dinner.

The large pool is ideal after a game of tennis on one of the 5 courts (3 floodlit), or perhaps after a work out in the fitness room.

Accommodation Selection:

Please note that as of 1 December 2010 the main building rooms will no longer be available for sale.

Within the grounds there are 98 completely renovated, modern Premier garden or ocean view rooms as well as Beachfront Lanais and Suites – these rooms have a sitting area or separate sitting room and are also beautifully refurbished. The Premier rooms have flat screen TV’s with surround sound and DVD’s.

All rooms have air-conditioning, a mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, cable TV, 24hr room service, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, iron and board. A welcome “taste” will be in your room.

A further soft-furnishing upgrade to be completed by March 2010.

Family arrangements are flexible

For families we can offer a second room at a discount for children 17 years and under, or Premier rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Additionally there are 2 free standing cottages with 2 bedrooms and 1 over-sized  one bedroom cottage within the grounds, we have all the details do please ask.  A Children’s programme is offered during the main summer season – please ask for the latest information on dates of operation.

Will it be Bermudian, Italian or casual Mickey’s for dinner?

We offer the Elbow Beach on a bed and breakfast basis year round. There are excellent choices for dining at the hotel, there are 3 restaurants with full seaview, to include the Mediterranean flavour Lido restaurant, or the more casual Mickey’s, located on a deck among palm trees on the beach. There is also a poolside restaurant serving lunch and the Sea Breeze Terrace is the spot in the evenings for cocktails and light snacks, the perfect setting to enjoy the sunset.

The Concierge Desk is on hand for information on activities and the choice of shops in the hotel is very convenient and tempting.

Stunning ocean views are the perfect backdrop to the 6 Spa Suites with private balconies. The suites offer holistic treatments in a tranquil setting. Details of treatments are available, just ask.

The hotel may do some renovations during 2010 in the main building, please call us to check the latest information.
