Each of the stylish rooms and suites has a balcony or terrace, satellite TV, internet access (payable), safe and mini-bar. Deluxe rooms have sea, garden or inland views (some inland overlook the car park). Grand Deluxe rooms have a sitting area, whilst luxury duplex Suites have a separate sitting room.

The 154 luxurious Pine Cliffs Residence Apartments are located around the golf course, surrounded by pine forests. Offering two or three bedroom apartments these lovely Residences’ have a sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony or terrace with views of the gardens.

Here you will also find the seasonal Casa Pine Cliffs which houses the check-in area for the Residence, a mini-market, health club, a restaurant and bar. Room only prices are readily available. All meals are at a supplement. We also offer the two, three or four bedroomed Sheraton Townhouses within the grounds. These are with kitchen, lounge, dining area and terrace. There are 78 delightful “Golf Suites”, within the extensive grounds, these offer apartment-style luxury accommodation. Fully air-conditioned, they have two or three bedrooms with two or three bathrooms, a sitting room with a dining area and a breakfast bar separating the kitchen which has all that you may need including a washing machine. Satellite TV, a terrace and views of the gardens or the hotel golf course complete this super bright accommodation.

New this year are the contemporary two or three bedroom Terraces, which are townhouses with a kitchen and lounge/dining room set in a secluded area surrounded by pools, gardens and pine trees, yet only a five minute walk from the main hotel.

All these accommodations have the added benefit of five star hotel facilities (including room service) and are ideal for families.

DINING

Eating here is a pleasure. The Jardim Colonial (half board) is open for breakfast and dinner with an open air terrace, the Corda-Café is a relaxed spot for light meals and the seasonal O Pescador specialises in seafood. Moroccan, Italian, O’Grill Mediterranean and Piri Piri restaurants offer more choice (all seasonal). After dinner, the Miradouro bar (seasonal) or the Portulano Bar with occasional live music may appeal.

LEISURE FACILITIES & GOLF

The Sheraton Golf Academy is a real opportunity to improve. Instruction takes place on the hotel course with an indoor school with video display for theory. The nine hole par three course has been designed to incorporate the woods and the cliff top. A driving range and putting green are also available. Excellent golf packages are offered which include one nine hole round at Pine Cliffs, plus two 18 hole green fees at other courses. Please ask us for full details.

The health club houses an indoor heated pool for cooler days.

FAMILIES

Children will be spoiled at the Porto Pirata, an excellent children’s village open 9.30 to 17.30 (Apr - Oct). Children from six months to eight years will be professionally supervised whilst enjoying games, mini-golf, their own pool and lots more. We have all the details – a whole day including lunch costs about €45. Baby-sitting is also pre-bookable. Older children, from nine to twelve years old, will have plenty to keep them busy at the Junior Cub.
